Privacy and advertising

Cookie policy

This policy explains the browser storage that may be used when you visit MyCalcVault and the choices available to you.

What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small text files saved by a website or its service providers. Local storage is a related browser feature. These technologies can remember choices, help protect services, measure how pages are used, and support advertising.

Calculator inputs

The financial calculator inputs and results are processed in your browser. MyCalcVault does not require an account and does not intentionally transmit the numbers you enter to a MyCalcVault database.

Advertising cookies

MyCalcVault is connected to Google AdSense for site review, but the current review build does not load ad-serving JavaScript or contain ad slots. If ads are enabled after approval, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device information, or similar identifiers to deliver, limit, measure, and protect advertising. Whether personalized advertising is available depends on your region, consent choices, and Google policy.

Google explains its use of advertising cookies in How AdSense uses cookies and describes broader data practices in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Consent choices

Where consent is required, visitors should be offered choices through a Google-certified consent management platform before personalized advertising is served. A choice can be changed through the privacy controls shown by that platform. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies, although doing so may affect some third-party features.

Strictly necessary storage

Security, fraud prevention, load balancing, and consent records may require limited storage even when advertising personalization is declined. These uses should be limited to what is necessary for the requested service and applicable legal obligations.

Policy changes

This policy will be updated when the site's advertising, analytics, or consent setup changes materially. The effective date will change only when the text or underlying practices change.
